How to install
Two install methods:
-
Direct fix: if your existing ceiling is solid plasterboard, fix battens across at 600mm centres, then screw panels to battens
-
Over Artex: fix battens directly through the Artex into the joists above, then panels to battens (preferred for older Artex'd ceilings)
Use matching PVC perimeter trims to finish edges. A typical small bathroom ceiling can be done in 3–5 hours by two people.
FAQs
Will it sag over time?
Not if installed correctly with battens at 600mm centres. Without enough fixing points, panels can flex slightly between supports.
Does it expand and contract with temperature?
Yes — PVC has small thermal movement. Always leave a 5–10mm expansion gap at the perimeter (the trim hides it).

Matching PVC wall panels for full-room coverage · Perimeter trims for clean edges · Silver-strip variant for a more decorative finish
Important notes
- Shower and wall panels may have minor surface imperfections, small dents, or factory marks on edges, corners, or backs. This is normal for PVC panels and does not affect performance.
- We recommend cutting 15–25mm from each end before installation to remove any uneven edges. Small holes or cracks on edges can be sealed with cladding adhesive during fitting.
- Gloss and sparkle panels may show faint internal honeycomb lines under certain lighting conditions. This is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.
- Images are for illustration. Marble veining and concrete mottling are irregular by design, so pattern and tone vary slightly between panels and batches.
- Appearance may differ depending on lighting and screen settings.

Batch Colour Disclaimer
To keep colour and tone consistent across your project, please order all panels you need in a single order. Panels from separate orders may come from different production batches, and small variations in shade or tone can occur — this is a natural part of the manufacturing process.
