The Grey Range

Cool, contemporary, calm. Grey Oak & Grey Stone finishes.

Grey is our best-converting acoustic panel finish — customers who land on Grey Oak buy at nine times the rate of the site average. Reason: it works with almost every modern interior. Warm greys sit beautifully next to natural wood floors and cream units; cooler greys pair with white walls and black metal fittings for a Scandi-industrial look.

Two shades of grey to choose from — Grey Oak (a real oak veneer with soft grey wash and visible grain) and Grey Stone Effect (a subtle marble-veined finish for a more decorative feature wall).

Room Inspiration

Where grey acoustic panels shine.

Living Room · Media Wall

Behind a wall-mounted TV — Grey Oak absorbs sound, softens echo and adds vertical rhythm. Pair with brass or black metal shelves.

Bedroom · Headboard Wall

Behind the bed floor-to-ceiling. Grey tones feel calm and hotel-like without going too dark. Add warm LED lighting between the slats.

Home Office

Reduces echo on video calls, kills reverb on Zoom recordings. Grey stays neutral on camera — flatters skin tones.

Hallway · Statement Wall

A single vertical run makes narrow hallways feel taller. Warm brass sconces against Grey Oak — a boutique-hotel entrance in one afternoon.

Dining Room

Behind the table to control acoustic reflection — conversation feels calmer, glassware clinks less sharply. Grey Stone Effect works particularly well here.

Studio / Podcast Room

The NRC 0.75–0.90 rating cuts reverb noticeably. Grey looks professional on camera and doesn't bounce coloured light onto the subject.

Finishing Touch

Frequently Asked

Grey acoustic panels — common questions.

What's the difference between Grey Oak and Grey Stone Effect?

Grey Oak is real wood veneer with visible oak grain and a soft grey wash. Grey Stone Effect uses a marble-veined film on the same acoustic slat construction — more decorative, slightly cooler in tone. Grey Oak is the safer, longer-lasting choice for most rooms; Grey Stone Effect is bolder as a single feature wall.

How many panels do I need?

Each panel covers 1.44 m². Measure your wall area (height × width in metres), divide by 1.44, and round up. A standard 2.4m × 3m wall = 7.2 m² = 5 panels. Or use our free Panel Calculator.

Can I cut them to size?

Yes — any standard fine-tooth saw. Cut the MDF face-down when using a jigsaw to avoid tear-out on the veneer. See our full Cutting Guide.

How do I install them?

Grab adhesive to flat plaster, or screw through the felt into battens. Step-by-step guide with tools and tips in our Install Guide.

Do you offer free samples?

Yes — order our free sample pack (includes Grey Oak plus three other finishes). Delivered free to UK addresses.
