PanelDeals Returns and Cancellations Policy

This Returns and Cancellations Policy ("Policy"), together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms and Conditions, sets out the terms governing the sale of products ("Products") through our website [www.paneldeals.co.uk] ("Website"). By placing an order with PanelDeals, you agree to be legally bound by this Policy and our other policies. Please read them carefully before ordering.

This Policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

1. Cancellations
1.1 Pre-Dispatch Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch by emailing service@paneldeals.co.uk with your order number and customer details. We will confirm cancellation and process a full refund (excluding any delivery charges already paid).

1.2 Post-Dispatch Cancellations
Orders cancelled after dispatch may incur delivery and return shipping charges. Custom-made or production-specific orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

1.3 Failed Delivery Cancellations
If a delivery attempt fails and you choose to cancel rather than arrange redelivery, your refund will be processed minus a £25 carriage fee for the initial failed delivery attempt.

2. Returns
2.1 Statutory Cancellation Rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of delivery to cancel your order for any reason. You must:

Notify us within 14 days of delivery by emailing service@paneldeals.co.uk with your order number;

Return goods within 14 days of notification, unused, in original unopened packaging, and resaleable condition.

You bear the cost and risk of return shipping unless the return is due to our error.

2.2 Return Process
Initiate Return: Email service@paneldeals.co.uk with your order number, reason for return, and preferred return method (depot drop-off or collection).

Packaging: Securely pack items using protective materials. Do not use original product packaging as the outer container. Any transit damage may result in deductions.

Return Address: We will provide the appropriate UK return address upon receipt of your request.

Proof of Return: Use a tracked shipping service. We accept no liability for items lost in transit.

2.3 Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
Report damage, shortages, or incorrect deliveries within 48 hours of receipt to service@paneldeals.co.uk with:

Order number

Clear photographs

Confirmation items remain uninstalled/unused

At delivery: Refuse damaged goods and mark consignment "Damaged". Write "Not inspected" on delivery note if unable to check immediately.

Claims after 72 hours (or if goods installed) are not accepted.

Approved claims receive full refund/replacement (our choice). Installed goods ineligible.

3. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned unless defective:

Opened/non-faulty goods

Custom or special-order products

Perishable materials

Goods shipped directly from third-party manufacturers

4. Refund Processing
Eligibility: Full refunds for faulty/incorrect goods or compliant 14-day returns. Partial refunds possible for approved partial claims.

Timeline: Processed within 7 working days of receipt/inspection. Bank processing may add 5 working days.

Method: Credited to original payment method.

5. Important Notices
Kerbside Delivery Only: Customer responsible for unloading/storage after kerbside drop-off.

Claims Evidence: Must provide order number, photos, and proof goods remain resaleable.

No Liability: For installation/tradesperson costs due to delivery delays or damaged goods.

Tracked Returns Recommended: We accept no responsibility for lost return shipments.
