PVC wall panels are easy to fit. What separates a good job from a great one is what happens at the edges — where the panels meet a corner, an end wall, another sheet, or the floor.

Silicone-only edges yellow within a year and never look flush. A proper PVC trim hides the cut edge, waterproofs the joint, and gives the room a fitted finish that looks like a bathroom fitter walked out an hour ago.

Every PVC panel install uses one or two of these. Match by shape, not colour.
External corner PVC trim
External Corner
Wraps a wall corner that sticks OUT into the room. Two panels meet at 90°, this hides both cut edges.
Internal corner PVC trim
Internal Corner
For inside corners — where two walls meet in a shower alcove or splashback return. Neat 90° join.
End cap PVC trim
End Cap
Finishes the last vertical edge of a panel run — where the PVC stops and the painted wall carries on.
H-joint bar PVC trim

Butts two panels edge-to-edge in the middle of a wall run — used when you need to join panels horizontally or vertically.

PVC trim questions answered.

How do I know what thickness trim I need?
Look at the edge of your PVC panel — it'll be 5mm, 8mm or 10mm thick. If you bought from us, it's on the product page: our bathroom/shower panels are usually 8mm or 10mm, our ceiling panels are 5mm or 8mm. The trim slot matches the panel thickness — a 5mm trim won't hold an 8mm panel securely.
How are the trims fitted?
Silicone adhesive along the trim's flat back flange, then press against the wall. The panel slides into the trim's channel — silicone that joint too for a waterproof seal. No screws or nails needed. Cut trims to length with a fine-tooth hacksaw or mitre saw; 45° mitre for tidy corner joins.
Can I use these trims outdoors?
The PVC itself is fine outdoors and the trims are UV-stable, but they're designed for interior wall/ceiling finishing. In direct sun over years, white trims can slightly yellow. For sheltered outdoor spots (covered patios, porches) they're generally fine.
What length are the trims?
All trims on this page are 2.4m (2400mm) long — the same as a standard PVC wall panel. That means one trim per vertical corner with no join. For longer runs, butt two trims together with a small silicone bead in the seam.
Do the colours exactly match my panels?
White trims work well with all our matt white and gloss white panels — there's a slight sheen difference against a high-gloss panel but it's not obvious. Chrome trims pair with silver-strip panels for a coordinated look. Black trims are great for feature walls or contrast detail. If you want an exact colour match, order a small trim length first — postage is the same on 1 or 5.
Can I cut a 2.4m trim down for a smaller area?
Yes — PVC cuts cleanly with any fine-tooth blade. Mark the length, cut on a scrap board to protect the surface, and lightly deburr the edge with sandpaper. Offcuts are useful for small details around window reveals or shower niches.
