What the classification means

Class B
Limited contribution to fire under the stated test conditions.
s2
Moderate smoke production during the test — better than s3, not as low as s1.
d1
Some flaming droplets observed but self-extinguishing within 10 seconds.

Important — read before specifying
The B-s2, d1 classification applies to our 10mm PVC wall panel range when installed in line with the conditions set out in the test report. Our 5mm and 8mm PVC ranges are not currently fire-classified — if a fire rating is required for your specification, please choose the 10mm range or contact us for the current documentation. This is a fire-classification report and does not mean the product is fireproof or suitable for every application. For projects with specific fire-safety requirements — public buildings, escape routes, taller structures, healthcare, hospitality — always confirm the classification meets the relevant building regulations for your project with your fire engineer or building control.
