Acoustic Wall Panels — Frequently Asked Questions
Do acoustic wall panels actually reduce noise?
Yes. The slatted wood face combined with the acoustic felt backing absorbs mid- and high-frequency sound, reducing echo and reverb. They are not full soundproofing (they won't stop noise transferring through walls), but they significantly improve room acoustics for offices, studios and living rooms.
Can I install acoustic panels myself?
Absolutely. Most customers fit them as a DIY project. You'll need a tape measure, spirit level, a hand saw or jigsaw, and either grab adhesive or screws (or both for maximum hold).
What size are your acoustic wall panels?
Standard size is 2400mm × 600mm × 21mm. Panels can be cut down to fit any room.
Are these real wood?
Yes — every panel has a genuine wood veneer face. Available in Natural Oak, Walnut, Grey Oak and Black Oak.
Can acoustic panels be used in bathrooms?
We do not recommend wood-veneer acoustic panels for wet rooms or bathrooms. For high-moisture areas, see our waterproof PVC wall panels instead.
Do you offer free samples?
Yes — order a sample to check colour and finish before committing to a full wall.
How long does delivery take?
We dispatch from our Durham warehouse with fast UK mainland delivery. Most orders arrive within 2–5 working days.
